Sherman, Texas Shipped Antique Colt Black Powder Single Action Army Revolver with Inscription and Factory Letter. 38 WCF, 4 3/4" round barrel, blue/case hardened finish, stag grips. Serial #163448. Factory letter states revolver was shipped to Roberts, Hardwicke & Taylor Co. of Sherman, Texas, on December 10, 1895 with a 4 3/4 inch barrel in .38-40 caliber, blue finish, and type of stocks not listed. This was a six gun shipment. The back strap shoulder is engraved with the initials "JKO", and the back strap is engraved "OLIVER." Very good condition as refinished with smooth gray patina on the balance, slightly undersized grips. Mechanically fine. Cisco’s has additional firearms in the Gallery post 1896.
